August 2023- Bend Market Update

As I sit down to write my September newsletter, I find myself reflecting on the incredible support and trust I've felt in my real estate journey. Whether you've entrusted me with your business, referred someone my way, or simply taken a moment to read my newsletter, I want you to know how much it means to me.

In the year 2023, I've had the privilege of assisting clients in finding their dream homes and making successful sales in Bend, Redmond, and Sunriver. Within Bend, my clients have bought or sold homes in Yardley Estates, Discovery West, Broken Top, and Tetherow, creating memories and shaping new beginnings.

Every client I've had the honor of working with this year has brought their own unique story, desires, and emotional journey into the process. Whether it's downsizing, upsizing, relocating, or investing, each experience has been a profoundly personal one. How is the Bend Real Estate Market?

If you are following the monthly trends, you will noticed the median sale price in Bend dropped to $742k (down from 800k in July). These numbers offer a snapshot of one month in time and are best viewed as a trend over a longer period of time. As you can see below, this median sales price is 4% higher than what it was at this time last year. Days on the market for sold properties went up to 16 days, vs. 9 days the month prior. Our inventory is holding steady with an average of a 2 month supply.
