December 2023- Bend Market Update

And here it is, my last blog of 2023!  Good news, there has been a recent improvement in mortgage rates, and the Fed recently announced that they expect to cut rates further next year.  If you're considering buying a home in the New Year, it's a wise idea to connect with a lender.  Being proactive now ensures you are prepared when the opportune moment arises.  I collaborate with some exceptional lenders if you would like a recommendation!

One of the most common questions I get is "How is the market".  I love this quick visual that shows what kind of market we are in (this is specific to Bend).  Since our supply is low, we are technically in a Seller's market.  As interest rates go down, we should see increased activity from both Sellers and Buyers.

What home decor trends are going out of style in 2024?  Read here to find out!  I love the coziness of boucle, so for me, it's here to stay.

Looking for a local homegood store in Bend for last-minute gifts? I love the timeless and natural style of Lark Mountain Modern in downtown Bend.

How is the Bend Real Estate Market?

November saw a slight decrease in the median sales price.  The most noteworthy change this month is the number of days a home is on the market before going pending, which is 31- up from 17 the month prior.  Inventory is low and steady, staying at a 2-month supply.

Wishing you and your family a joyful Holiday Season!
