Finding a home in Bend that checks all the boxes can feel challenging. Well, we are seeing a lot of new construction in Bend and this will give homebuyers more options.
In this video I am going to give you an overview of two new communities in North West Bend. Both of these communities are designed and built by Pahlisch Homes, which is a production builder from the Pacific Northwest.
#1 : Skyline West
Skyline West sits off to the left of Shevlin Park road as you are driving out to Shevlin Park. This area gives you the best of both worlds, with downtown just a few miles away, and, with Shevlin Park just outside your doorstep. Shevlin Park is a cherished park with nearly 1,000 acres. Tumulo creek rambles through the park and there are several footbridges for crossing. If you enjoy trail running, hiking, or mountain biking, it is easy to spend a lot of time at Shevlin Park. Our family also enjoys the fishing pond and walking our dog at Shevlin.
Skyline West homes are a blend of single family homes and cottages. Floor plans range from 1700-2800 square feet. When viewing these homes you will see that they are a pacific NW craftsman style with modern touches like vaulted ceilings, soaker tubs, and gas fireplaces. These homes are part of Pahlisch’s signature level series which means they have high end finishes like wood wrapped windows, 9 ft ceilings on the main level, quartz countertops, and engineered wood floors. Pahlisch has also taken our high desert climate into consideration and has thoughtful landscaped the yards with native plants to minimize water usage and maintenance.
#2 : Treeline
Treeline is located less than one mile south east of Skyline west- so just a little bit closer toward town. I might be a little bit biased here since I live nearby, but I think Tree Line is an ideal location for families. This is another Pahlisch development that is still under construction, but homes are already selling before they are completed. Homes are similar to what you will find in Shevlin West, with the addition of townhomes, which provide a slightly more affordable option for homebuyers.
My favorite thing about Treeline is that it is nestled between everything. I love that you can walk or ride your bike to so many places. To the South you have the schools- this includes Miller Elementary, Pacific Crest and Summit High School. You also have the amenities of northwest crossing such as the Grove, Discovery park, and farmer’s market nearby. Treeline is near Shevlin Park and Phil's trail, so trail activities are also accessible from your doorstep. This is a dog loving community and I’m pretty sure dogs love it here too. Like Skyline West, the lots are small- I know this isn’t ideal for everyone but it can mean less time doing yard work, and more time playing.
